The Honda Ridgeline is Honda's new pickup truck on the market.
It uses Honda's unibody large vehicle platform, shared with the
Acura MDX and Honda Odyssey. It is powered by an all aluminum
255 hp 3.5 L V6 coupled to a 5-speed automatic transmission with
all wheel drive capable of towing 5000 lbs. The Ridgeline will
be the first pickup truck with a fully-independent
suspension.
Some of the more innovative features of the Ridgeline are its
tailgate, which can fold down or hinge to the side, and ...

Your $30,000 car has come equipped with all of the latest bells
and whistles: traction control; Sirius satellite radio; side
curtain air bags; Onstar; and power everything. Well, there is
one thing that is curiously left out of many new car purchases
and that is floor mats. You would think that matching floor mats
would be standard equipment on all vehicles, instead it is an
aftermarket purchase for most motorists. Selecting the right
type of floor mat is essential to preserving your ...

Being a car-magazine test driver is one of the ultimate jobs for
anyone who likes cars. Test drivers get to spend plenty of time
in pricey all-out performance machines -- Corvettes, Vipers, and
Porsches -- not to mention awesome less-expensive cars like WRX,
Mustang, and Eclipse. In addition, test drivers get to go on
great trips to exotic locations, courtesy of automakers eager
for publicity. Sounds great? You bet. I've been doing it since
1999 and I can't honestly imagine a better job for ...

Is Your Car A Lemon? Sooner or later we must all buy a car.
When we can, we buy them brand new.
However most of us are stuck having to a buy a used car from a
dealer or privately at some point or another. The downside to
this is that you can get a car that at first seems like
everything you ever wanted, and soon becomes your worst
nightmare.
What I have come to learn is that by the time that you begin to
realize that you have bought yourself a lemon, it is usually too
late. The car has ...

engineered and most luxurious cars in the world. Two
manufacturers, BMW and Mercedes, rule the roost with offerings
from Audi, Porsche, and even Volkswagen getting some attention.
Let's take a look at some current offerings from these Bavarian

Considering the exorbitant prices of most luxury cars, it's a
veritable godsend for many cash-strapped consumers when genius
car manufacturers have invented cars worth their sticker prices.
Thus it strips off the word luxury, bearing the meaning that it
holds up to its name because of its price and nothing else.
Today, prominent car manufacturers like BMW and AUDI had been
ravishing the limelight after they received recognition from
Consumer Reports on its latest models.
The cars were among the ...

I was actually a passenger in a car that was having an active
oil leak. The driver knew what was happening, and was warned to
pull to the side of the road and call a tow truck, but she
wanted to try to make it home. Unfortunately, she didn't. The
engine seized up, never to run again. What a foolish and costly
mistake.
The simple fact is that the engine in your car cannot run
without lubrication from oil. Heat and friction would, as
illustrated in the case above, cause the engine to come to ...

The price of cars these days is just out of this world. You can
figure on spending upwards of $30,000 for a family van. No
wonder a lot of people are opting for used cars. Even with

Contrary to what its name suggests, the Texas Lemon Law is not a
legislation that deals with the buying and selling of fruits or
rule against its bright color.
It does not even come close.
Rather it involves the right of American consumers, who buy
vehicles, used or brand new, cars or trucks, to return defective
products and ask for a refund.
Along with the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act and the Uniform
Commercial Code, the Texas Lemon Law or Lemon Law in general
protects the rights of American ...
